OVER 30 STUDENTS OF AJUMAKO AFRANSI TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL SCHOOL HOSPOTALIZED FOR ALLEDED FOOD POISON

Over 30 students of Ajumako Afransi Technical and Vocational Institute in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region has been hospitalized for allegedly consuming poisonous food at the school.
Informations gathered by Lucky TV news Odehyeɛba Gilbert revealed that, the victims couldn’t hold their Tommy after eating Wakye and stew during the launch time on Tuesday June,10, 2024.

They were having running stomach, vomiting seriously.

Quickly, the teachers of the school rushed them to The Salvation Army Poly-Clinic at Ajumako- Baa for treatments whiles others were sent to the District Government Hospital at Ajumako for treatment and drips and medications were given to them.

Some of the students said, they had stomach pains just after eating the lunch food which was wakye and stew.

Some of the parents after hearing the news stormed the hospital and the school to visit their wards.

According to the parents who stays closer to the school said, they heard the students vomiting, having running stomach and also complaining of headaches.

Majority of the students were on Tuesday June 11, 2024 in the evening were sent to the Hospital which some also felt the sickness Wednesday morning.

Speaking in an interview with the Physician Assistant Daniel Agyeakpor, he explained that they were at the hospital when they received a number of students vomiting and per their checks it seems to be a food poison that may lead to that.

Mr Daniel Agyeakpor explained that majority of the students are in stable condition and are awaiting lab results to determine the cause of their illness.
The School authorities are yet to comments on the said Food poison.
