VOTE TRANSFER EXERCISE: AVOID DESRCIMINATION AGAINST US AND WE WILM SUPPORT YOU.. NDC TO EC
The Central Regional NDC branch is calling on the Electoral Commission as well as the security officer to exercise a level playing field for both NPP and NDC and the NDC will whole heartlty support without any prejudice.
Speaking to the media at a press conference organized at Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central Region, Prof. Kofi Asiedu who is the Chairman of the NDC party in the region noted that there have been series of intimidation on their members prompting them to response and the level of injustices against the NDC members is unprecedented.
He is therefore calling on the EC to ensure transparent and smooth processes as we gear to the 2024 General election.
He however cautioned that if the police fails to protect the NDC members, they will be left no other option than to protect themselves..
The chairman added that, the Intel he has indicates that, the Effutu MP, Hon. Afenyo Markin has bussed 71 military officers to the Constituency to transfer their vote to Effutu which will allow them to vote in Effutu during 7th December, 2024.
The chairman voiced out that he has all the list which he is working on it to present before commander of Arm Forces to get those names out from Effutu EC voting register.
In conclusion, he charged the Commander of Ghana Arm Force to act quickly to get those names out from the system before any mayhem occurred in the Constituency.
